Cedar Fair Maintenance Fiberglass Technician in DOSWELL, Virginia

Overview:

The Maintenance Department at Kings Dominion has a Fiberglass Technician opening! We are looking for a highly-skilled candidate with relevant fiberglass experience and knowledge to add to our Park Maintenance Team! This is a Full-Time, year-round position that comes with our benefits package and other great perks Submit your resume and apply online!

Responsibilities:

  • Performs general carpentry/maintenance/construction work as assigned, including but not limited to painting, construction projects, etc.

  • Inspects, maintains and repairs fiberglass components in the park, including ride cars, boats used on rides, water slides,seats, tables, etc.

  • Selects the proper fiberglass product and technique to repair areas. Molds, fabricates, modifies and/or

  • Replaces fiberglass parts.

  • Prepares fiberglass objects for painting.

  • Performs skilled work in the installation, maintenance and repair of fiberglass objects used in Park.

  • Molds, fabricates, modifiesand/or replaces fiberglass parts.

  • Performs related work as required.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of related experience

  • Background in Construction

  • Carpentry skills

  • Driver's License

  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.

  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.

  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
