In your role, you will

  • Take charge of resolving technical problems with the support of other services;

  • Technically support daily production activities;

  • Investigate the root causes of problems and analyze potential solutions by evaluating the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production;

  • Be on the lookout for ways to improve manufacturing and manufacturing strategies in addition to taking part in research and development projects;

  • Define, validate and correct assembly specifications or repair and/or manufacturing ranges intended for the production of aircraft components;

  • Interpret or approve drawings and other documents from the engineering department;

  • Define the tools necessary for the manufacturing or assembly of aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerancing;

  • Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategy by working in close collaboration with engineering, materials logistics, quality and production departments;

  • Ensure feasibility and plan changes requested by production and customers;

  • Identify opportunities to eliminate non-added values by optimizing production.

As our ideal candidate

  • You have a technical college diploma and/or equivalent experience;

  • You have experience in the manufacturing and aeronautics field (an asset) 3 to 5 years of experience;

  • You are comfortable reading technical drawings, have good 3D visualization and a good analytical mind;

  • You have a developed sense of logic and a good mechanical mind;

  • You have an excellent team spirit, you are recognized for your perseverance and your judgment;

  • You are innovative and have a good decision-making process;

  • You have a developed customer mindset and have good interpersonal communication skills;

  • You are familiar with computer-aided drawing software such as Catia, Enovia, etc.;

  • You are familiar with one or more Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software

  • You master the French language, both orally and in writing;
