What You'll Do:

We're in search of a talented and forward-thinking Aesthetics Manager to join our vibrant team.

In this pivotal role, the Aesthetics Manager will be instrumental in shaping and implementing the visual essence of our products, ensuring they resonate with our brand identity and strategic goals.

Working with a team of skilled designers, this role involves close collaboration with various departments to develop innovative solutions that enhance our brand and contribute to our business achievements.

How You'll Do It:

Some of your tasks and responsibilities will include:

  1. Develop Creative Solutions: Generate innovative solutions and deliver design aesthetics that align with strategic product direction and promote innovation.

  2. Communication and Alignment: Effectively communicate design direction and requirements to supply partners. Ensure alignment of design teams to execute projects according to assigned design language.

  3. Project Management: Drive project management activities, including design execution, material procurement, conversion activation, and component testing. Adhere to project timelines and oversee key deliverables.

  4. Weekly Meetings: Attend weekly project meetings and provide comprehensive updates to the broader organization regarding project progress.

  5. Supplier Management: Manage communication with suppliers and ensure clear direction on project requirements and deadlines for key stakeholders.

  6. Swatch Selections: Curate swatch selections from suppliers and coordinate internal reviews to enhance submissions.

  7. Prototype Requests: Collaborate with internal development teams to submit build requests for full-scale prototype/design reviews.

  8. Lean Design Principles: Collaborate with teams to develop designs following lean principles. Integrate Design to Value and Design to Manufacture processes into design development.

  9. Intellectual Property: Protect all intellectual property and secure exclusivity of ideation wherever possible.

  10. Brand Segment Responsibility: Assume responsibility for a designated segment of a brand.

  11. Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as determined by the Senior Director of Aesthetic Design.

What You'll Bring:

  • Degree in Industrial Design, Fashion Design, or Textile Design preferred

  • Industrial, fashion, or textile design or associated product development experience preferred

  • Strong eye for design and aesthetics. Ability to drive creative thinking.

  • Technical knowledge of textile/performance fabric construction and production methods strongly preferred.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite , Solidworks, Keyshot, or comparable software preferred but not required.

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

  • Willingness to speak up.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership and decision-making ability.

  • Strong ability to drive process.

  • Assertive, decisive and confident decision maker.

  • Ability to manage multiple project tasks and project timelines

  • Ability to navigate complex manufacturing and development processes

  • Team-oriented, collaborative work approach; initiative, flexibility, and able to work in a team setting

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • 5-10 years professional experience working in new product development

The hiring salary range for this position applies to where legally required, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
