Wencor Group Llc Aerospace Regional Account Director in DORAL, Florida

Overview of the Position:

The Regional Account Director aggressively pursues relationships at our customer’s senior level to cultivate opportunities to extend additional Wencor Distribution and PMA products and services portfolio offering. He/she works closely with Account Managers to insure sustained growth of current business and coordination of portfolio expansion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with customer senior level cultivate relationships with influencers and decision makers.

  • Lead Customer Growth Strategy development with Regional Account Mangers, Product Management, and PMA Business Development Management on current customers in region.

  • Provide leadership, mentoring and training to Regional Account Managers.

  • Customer portfolio manager lead initiatives to fill gaps in current portfolio

  • Coordinate customer contact plan with Regional Account Mangers and MRO Sales to insure proper and successful customer visits

  • Support Distribution New Business Development Director in developing relationship with companies who we have targeted to add to our portfolio.

  • Meet and exceed annual new business sales target.

  • Extensive Travel of up to 65% , including overnight stays.

  • Travel requirements necessitate that passport documents be valid at all times.

  • Manage assigned travel budget.

    Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Must be fluent with MS Office software and other computer applications generally.

  • Possesses solid understanding of the aviation industry.

  • Negotiation skills.

    Education Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering, MBA degree preferred. Ten years aerospace industry experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous Sales experience expected.

    Mathematical Skills : Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    Reasoning Ability : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
