POSITION SUMMARY:

  1. As a QA manager you will be in charge of the QA team in your area. This includes all the aspects of team management and a strong part of your position will be to improve/elevate the team structure and function.

  2. This position requires a will and a potential to embrace and drive change.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. QA team management

(1) Ability to manage a team of 10+. Strong knowledge of the quality management field with proven record of department structuring and management.

(2) Manage the QA team including:

o Training and Coaching

o Performance review

o Function assignment

(3) Regional role to manage different ASIA countries footwear QA

(4) Strong footwear knowledge

(5) Manage Risk Assessment, Pre-Production meeting & GMP.

(6) Analysis & benchmark FCQA program performance to align with PVH business & quality requirement.

(7) Manage Asia factories quality consistence level to ensure it meets PVH standard (KPI’s) requirements and prepare CAP with follow up action by local QA.

(8) Prepare a team restructuring to better cover the new needs of the footwear sourcing office.

(9) Implement the new structure and constantly adapt to the business environment.

  1. Continuous improvement project implementation and CAP

(1) Propose improvement project related to Quality regarding, processes, documents, reporting, KPI, team structure, knowledge management etc.

(2) Responsible for implementing those projects that are related to the Quality department.

(3) Following issues or claims:

o Drive and participate actively in defect validation, the root cause analysis and review factory’s CAP.

o Analysis factory’s CAP and follow CAP implemented.

  1. Vendor’s improvement and Management

(1) Manage GMP factory audit & provide training to enhance factory performance.

(2) Responsible with your team to manage and improve suppliers in the below aspect:

o Production management

o Mold Control

o Supply chain management

o Quality management

o Overall Quality Level (OQL) performance

(3) Participate in the strategic souring plan and help the research and

assessment part of the sourcing.

Responsible for ensuring corporate practices are fully implemented within your scope of responsibility.

  2. Works proactively according to defined schedules and deadlines; takes direction well and able to work with high accountability; manages own work and tracks progress. Seeks out resources to get things done; able to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.

  3. Perform other duties assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  1. Associate Degree or above.

  2. 10 years background in a similar position, preferable from within a fast paced fashion environment.

  3. Superior Quality Management knowledge.

  4. Strong team management experience.

  5. Strong knowledge of international supply chain.

  6. Knowledge of Six Sigma is a strong plus.

  7. Manage oversea production knowledge is a strong plus.

  8. Buying office experience is a strong plus.

  9. Very structured and process oriented mindset.

  10. Experience in Word & Excel , MS Office.

  11. Fluency in English and Chinese Mandarin.
