Job Overview:

Package Management is a discipline of Supply Chain that is designed and designated to manage the high value, complex and critical Procurement and Subcontract Packages for Project delivery. It is a multi-disciplined task force approach of Project Managing (Engineer – Procure – Deliver – Install / Commission) the delivery of key Purchases and Subcontracts; using a comprehensive Supply Chain (cradle to grave) single point of accountability for all aspects of the managed packages. Currently we are looking for a package manager to manage Mechanical Packages.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • During bid phase, work with Project Package Manager (PKM) to review Project Scope of Work in conjunction with various Bid Inputs including the Project Execution Plan, PMT Manpower allocation, Schedule and any other key documents relevant to determining Package Management requirements

  • Ensure these inputs will be entered on the criticality matrix (have criteria) to make prelim

  • Attend mandatory Package Management Training within 30 days of being assigned into the role

  • Focal point for MDR, Company, and Vendor

  • Reviews TBE and PR, and gets approval as required

  • Attends the final bid clarification meeting

  • Reviews the PO. Understands commercial impacts

  • Defines the document distribution through the document Distribution Matrix (DDM)

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • 10-15 years experience with a strong knowledge of how to field expedite as well as manage the internal and external stakeholders and expectations. They need to be able to review schedules, and chair expediting meetings with internal and external stakeholders

  • Must be good in excel reporting and having command in expediting of mechanical equipment

  • Strong English both verbal and written is a must

  • Must be able to influence both internal and external stakeholders
