Emerson IBU Sales Manager in Doha, Qatar

IBU Sales Manager:

Emerson Automation Solutions is where technology and engineering come together to build solutions for the benefit of our customers, lead without compromise for a world in action. This position is opened by the Fisher Flow Controls Business Unit as part of the Final Control Group!

This position will be based in Doha, Qatar and responsible for handling customers across Northern Region (Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq and Jordan).

Your job will offer outstanding perspectives and insights into how customers view their business and align their insights and priorities, while tying those insights back to Emerson product differentiators. You will drive two-way communications and clearly articulate our value proposition and engage the end customer in jointly addressing their business priorities. Our primary sales focus for this job is all customers in the region with direct sales responsibility.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Achieve or exceed annual business goals and targets.

  • Responsible for orders, POR, and sales volume growth for IBU, Digital Valve Experience (DVx), and Digital Valve Services.

  • Be the Technical Domain Authority for all Fisher Instruments Software & Hardware for the covered region.

  • Develop and implement strategies for growth of IBU, DVx, and DV Services. Understand market through sales insight, market research and competitive analysis.

  • Build specific strategy and guidelines to sales and LBP teams for displacing competition install base for replacement initiatives, pursuing outstanding applications and crafting new opportunities to increase market share.

  • Build penetration plans for all FCV Digitalization technology & solutions.

  • Work with Sales team on instrument business development goals and lead plans across the mentioned territory.

  • Build structure for FIELDVUE™ Champions in providing technical support on daily activities, warranty & non-warranty evaluation, and liaison with FCV Instrument Technical Support team.

  • Conduct Site visits, Site Walkdowns, Technical Presentations and other sales activities.

  • Maintain up to date with developments and trends in IBU & DVx new products, industries, and market conditions, and share with MEA IBU lead or similar

  • experience, to understand local needs.

  • Participate in XBU Initiatives pertaining to marketing events / seminars, exhibitions, device integration, product display, etc.

  • Work on entity & destination project activities (FEED & Awarded) in their endeavor to get technology leads and provide differentiation using FIELDVUE™ and DVx solutions, through regionally located FEED companies, relevant EPC and end users.

  • Committed to work throughout the project phase from FEED, bidding phase, execution phase and site commissioning phase to ensure full customer happiness.

  • Build monthly reports on business opportunities.

Who you are:

Excellent understanding of Upstream Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and Power process including Automation integration into Process Control Systems.

Proficient business skills & commercial awareness.

Communicate and deliver the business-based value messages.

For this Role, You Will Need:

Background in mechanical or instrumentation engineering or closely related subject area.

Minimum 7-10 years of Valves experience and Sales experience.

Experience in Control systems or Working exposure to control systems is an advantage.

Proficient in English Language-Written and spoken!

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Successful completion of CFSE or CFSP training and/or certification.

  • Arabic Speaking.
