McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing, Inc., Dodge Center, MN, is seeking a Sr. Chief Engineer Mechanical. This position leads and manages the Engineering team. Responsible for driving continuous improvement efforts across different engineering disciplines. Responsible for making critical decisions that have a large impact on projects and engineering initiatives. Develops and fosters Engineers to think innovatively, hold accountability, and process improvement on a daily basis. Provides advanced, technical leadership within the engineering department/platform. Leads collaborative research of new technology and processes associated with vehicle electronics and control systems and apply strategically to vehicles. This role will also direct high level and complex engineering analysis and design of new and modified components and subsystems in accordance with engineering standards and project scope to ensure that designs meet customer requirements, corporate objectives, are safe, and can be manufactured. Domestic travel required up to 10% of time.
