Essel Foreman/Supervisor in Dixon, California

Summary: Essel Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a highly experienced Foreman/Supervisor to oversee remediation and demolition projects on behalf of our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field operations, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear direction and leadership to 1-10 person crews during remediation and demolition projects.

  • Interact with and support the onsite Superintendent, assisting in scheduling and ordering goods, products, and services necessary for project completion.

  • Directly oversee and ensure the safety of individuals assigned to the crew during shifts.

  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure project goals are met within designated timeframes and budget constraints.

  • Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets client expectations and industry standards.

  • Provide training and mentorship to crew members as needed.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience working as a Field Technician or Operator within various departments and service lines.

  • Ability to effectively oversee 1-10 person crews and provide clear direction to staff.

  • HAZWOPER certification required, along with HAZWOPER Supervisor training and basic construction safety courses.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in remediation and demolition projects.

  • Additional certifications in construction safety or related fields.
