Copeland Sales Engineer, Industrial Refrigeration in DISTRITO FEDERAL, Mexico

  • GENERAL DUTIES

  • Carry out leadership responsibilities in an ethical manner in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

  • Sets and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/ services offering, and align to provide solutions

  • Differentiate our products and services from competition based on business benefits and value-selling strategies.

  • Communicate plans with manager and sales team-members to achieve results.

  • Prepare monthly budget for assigned territory and markets.

  • Prepare and/or participate with the development of proposals, systems design, system layouts, trade shows, seminars, trainings schools, etc..

  • Participates in negotiations with major suppliers, subcontractors, licensors, consultants, and others.

  • Travel to site locations to meet customers, engage with end users, trade shows, verify scope and / or provide commissioning and start-up support

  • Must be able to read & understand piping diagrams, block flow diagrams, specifications, & refrigeration drawings.

  • Experience with the installation of pipe & fittings utilizing good piping practices following industry standards for NH3 ammonia systems and other gases.

  • Experience with PSM (process safety management) for end user processing facilities utilizing NH3 and other gases as a refrigerant.

  • Familiarity with the different manufacturers of industrial refrigeration equipment.

  • IIAR (International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration) standards & bulletins knowlegde.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  1. 3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales for Industrial Refrigeration with a commercial background experience offering technical solutions to clients.

  2. Able to use conventional computer equipment and software comfortably and easily, including MS Office.

  3. Ability to take responsibility, grow the business and deliver results.

Willingness to travel – Customers in different cities of Mexico and Central America.
