Ameresco Assistant Facility Manager in District of Columbia, Washington

Ameresco has a new opportunity on our Federal Solutions Team for an Assistant Facility Manager to help oversee the operation of a large government building located in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and supervise field employees to ensure quality control and projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting or exceeding the customers’ expectations.

Maintain open communication with management on day-to-day activities and relevant information.

Distribute preventative maintenance and service tickets to appropriate operations and maintenance staff and ensure all work is complete and up to Ameresco’s standards. Follow up with issues as needed.

Ensure all tickets are accounted for and completed on time for all shifts.

Ensure all preventive measures are properly assigned and executed on time.

Follow up on all repair calls to ensure they are properly assigned and completed.

Ensure that direct customer communication is always efficient and effective.

Customer distribution of monthly reporting.

Ensure all staff are following established safety protocols within the building.

Ensure the site is equipped with the appropriate spare parts and e-mail all parts request to customer and follow up.

Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations management of facilities incorporating large mechanical equipment.

Ability to review confidential US security information.

Additional Qualifications:

Operating Engineers licensure preferred.

Experience with OSHA requirements and safety related training.

Prior responsibility with budgeting and budget management.

Experience in operation of facilities employing multiple staff and 24-hour 7 day a week on-call coverage.

Prior experience in managing subcontractors providing maintenance or repair services.

Excellent oral, written, computer communication and presentation skills.

Experience with CMMS system use.

Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing.

May require travel and flexibility for ‘on call’ support or varied schedule needs.
