Tau Six Senior Unified Communications Analyst (TS/SCI) in District Of Columbia

Tau Six, an agile small company delivering cutting edge cybersecurity and systems integration services to the US National Security market, has an immediate need for a Senior Unified Communications Analyst for a Department of Defense customer. In this role you have the opportunity to work with a cross-functional team in multiple technical areas to include operations, engineering, security, and systems development to deliver secure solutions to our national security customers.

Security Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret / SCI Required

This position requires full-time on-site support. This is not a remote position

Responsibilities:

  • Resolving Unified Communications user incidents and requests, to include operational voice and video challenges

  • Resolve issues with vendor-specific multi-level video teleconferencing systems

  • Complete Moves/Adds/Changes according to the specified SLAs

  • Provides weekly report activities to manager

  • Assist with the installation of local and/or remote data and voice communications equipment to include but not limited to voice terminals, video conferencing units, concentrators, minicomputers, central processing units, and facsimiles

  • Create and maintain appropriate documentation, including operational instructions

  • Work in a team with standardized solutions based on Cisco wired and wireless network equipment around the country and sometimes internationally

Basic Qualifications

  • 4 plus years' experience in information networks including Cisco VTC codes, Cisco VoIP endpoints, Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) version 11.5 or later, Cisco Telepresence Management Server

  • Certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level II

  • DoD 8570 computing environment certification within 6 months of hire. Cisco CCNA Voice or equivalent certification.

  • Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it

  • Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers' expectations

  • Local travel up to 10%

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in IT, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering, or similar field of study) or a Master's degree

  • Experience with SolarWinds Voice/Video QoS product a plus
