20.00-24.00 per hour Done on Experience | Until Filled (CST) | Dickinson, ND, USA | Hourly | Seasonal

Summary of Position:

Perform tasks involving physical labor with heavy construction projects or shop duties. May operate a variety of hand and power tools. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, and remove waste materials. May assist operators.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy/highway construction projects and/or oilfield projects.

  • Perform manual work in preparing surfaces, ditches, culverts or other areas.

  • Shovel dirt within construction area as defined by grade fill specifications given by foreman/operator.

  • Maintain a clean job site; pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.

  • Load and unload material manually, haul and hoist materials (pipe, box culverts, supplies).

  • Shop maintenance duties when needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Skills & Abilities and Physical Demands Required:

  • Basic knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in construction work.

  • Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.

  • Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.

  • Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.

  • Can follow and transmit written and oral instructions.

  • Responsible to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
