Job Description Summary

This role will give you an exposure to a broad range of experiences in the Human Resources area. This role will be pivotal in integrating and developing HR processes and strategies, analyze data and drive HR projects that meet needs across the business in Bangladesh. The role enables operational excellence, visibility to financial & other key metrics. As an HR Intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our HR policies and procedures. Your attention to detail, strong network and organizational skills will be utilized in and assisting with various HR-related activities. You will work closely with the HR leader – Asia.

Job Description

Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

  • Partner with the South Asia region and extended team members on key initiatives and projects

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.

  • Participate in improving procedures and workflows related to Human Resources.

  • Participate in the planning and implementation of an assigned project.

  • Use acquired knowledge and skills to carry out and complete project activities.

  • Uncover local trends and changes related to the HR landscape and identify potential challenges that may arise.

  • Partner with the wider HR team and subject matter experts (SME) to understand and evaluate gaps in systems and tools knowledge. Build process knowledge through observations and understudying HR Partners

  • Provide insights and counseling on policies and procedures.

  • Good research and conceptualizing skills, and, to be able to draft and propose any country related processes in GE context etc.

  • Partnering with people leader, site admin and HR leader

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A relevant post graduate degree in Human resources

  • 1-2 years of experience in Human resources

  • Is well networked with the HR and business communities

  • Should have a passion and curiosity for HR topics

  • Strong communication skills & knowledge of local language to work with business leaders, and a broad range of external associates.

  • Strong client service orientation and passion for problem solving.

  • Should have proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • This internship requires presence in our office in Dhaka

  • Preferably you are available for a full-time internship for minimum 12 months
