Responsibilities
Youll be a key member of our team, working with your colleagues to bring civil development plans to reality
Depending on the tasks to be filled, you may be asked to perform several different tasks throughout the day
Youll report to a project superintendent and have the opportunity to work at a variety of sites to prepare the ground for construction
This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength and the ability to work in various weather conditions
Complete tasks as directed by Foreman in a timely manner
Maintain and clean work areas
Perform shoveling, raking, and demolition work as required
Able to work and assist others to work in a safe manner within the guidelines of the company\'s policies
Operate Paving Equipment and/ or Labor
Observe distribution of paving material along Screed and control to eliminate voids at curbs and joints
Keep Screed accurately adjusted and maintain material quality
Setup Paver, Screed, and Rollers
Match all paver joints and maintain consistency
Perform several tasks involving strenuous manual labor on projects; perform manual work in preparing surfaces for paving
Assist in patching asphalt
Ability to drive and operate equipment under varying working conditions
