Accenture Test Engineering Associate Manager in Detroit, Michigan

Test Engineering Associate Manager (Accenture LLP; Detroit , MI): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Test Engineering Associate Manager in Detroit , MI, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Plan, construct, and execute test scripts through the use of quality processes and methodologies for Accenture or clients.

  • Develop, update, and maintain quality testing standards and procedures.

  • Create test models (plans, data, and scripts), including test data.

  • Execute regression testing, test automation, performance testing, functionality testing, and usability testing.

  • Review the development process to ensure that defect tracking (identification, fixing, re-testing, and migration of defects) is properly addressed.

  • Understand strategic direction set by senior management, and implement methods and procedures set by management.

  • Work with team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.

Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Test Management including estimating, planning, script development and maintenance, and execution;

  • Test Maturity Models, including validation and process improvement initiatives;

  • Day-to-day operations and management of providing software testing services and quality assurance to an engagement;

  • Tracking and reporting on service level and metrics;

  • Validating testability of requirements and providing test effort;

  • Testing automotive software features using test management processes and test specification;

  • Conducting defect triage meetings with different teams involved in Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC); and

  • Conducting root cause analysis of defects found during system integration testing.

Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Supporting User Acceptance Testing effort and working with business users to drive testing; and

  • Leading and coordinating onshore and offshore teams supporting systems integration testing.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
