Job Information

Aerotek General Laborer 15-17HR+OT/ 50+ Hours A Week in Detroit, Michigan

Shifts:

1st = 7:00am - 3:00pm

2nd = 3:00pm – 11:00pm

3rd = 11:00pm – 7:00am

Description:

This company in Detroit is looking for candidates to operate one of their production equipment, this could be a dryer, bagger or standardizer. Candidates will be responsible for, but not limited to the following job duties:

1). Monitoring the flow of milk from incoming tankers to the drying process.

2). Dumping powder into batches and communicating with the production department about the batches and types of production they will be running.

3). Startup, run and clean the standardizer machine.

4).Maintain proper quality of production and safety standards for specific product/customers.

5). Organizing and cleaning work area and machines.

6). Assemble/disassemble pumps

Candidates may be required to train for roughly a month on 1st Shift (7:00 am - 3:00 pm)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVES:

1). Production Experience

1a). Candidates that have worked on a production line, food line, or some type of production equipment and understand how things run

2). Basic math skills

2a). Candidates need to know basic math

3). Ability to lift 50lbs throughout their shift

3a). Candidates need to be able to lift bags of powdered milk 5 - 10x per shift. Sometimes this is lifting over their head.

4). High School Diploma

1). Food/beverage
