Job Title: Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrician with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team. Your primary responsibilities will include electrical troubleshooting throughout our facility, assisting other technicians on major projects, and assisting in production and maintenance tests. You will also handle work orders, report on inventory usage, and respond to emergency calls. Your work will involve electrical switchgear, high voltage power distribution-related equipment, and 3-phase electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting starters (Motor Starters), AC/DC motors, drives, starters, and DC Controls, and the ability to read schematics. Basic computer knowledge is required for reporting purposes. Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and experience with a CMMS would be a plus. While the primary focus of your role will be electrical work, you should be comfortable performing some mechanical work on motors, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics when necessary.

Hard Skills

  • 480V troubleshooting - motor circuits

  • Ability to read a motor control schematic

  • AC/DC experience - motor control

  • Controls, motors, switches, starters - troubleshooting and repair

  • Basic computer troubleshooting experience

Work Environment

We operate in a heavy industrial environment requiring fire-retardant clothing, steel-toed boots, hard hats, and safety glasses. You may be required to work in high areas and be exposed to a variety of weather conditions, including high heat. We provide all necessary uniforms, boots, glasses, ear protection, and tools. You will work alongside other skilled tradespeople to ensure safety at all times. We have a team-focused culture and prioritize safety above all else.
