Job Description

Hospital based sales position responsible for promoting assigned products and devices within the hospital setting. The Critical Care Business Manager acts as the primary contact for the customer and is responsible for coordinating with all company counterparts that also have responsibilities within the account. In addition to the assigned products, the CCBM is responsible for becoming certified to teach the set up and the utilization of the drug delivery device.The CCBM will also be certified in the preparation and placement for the assigned burn product and be able to communicate this with the OR physicians and staff. Through these responsibilities, the representatives will meet or exceed target objectives (MBO's). Primary customers include Neonatal HCP's, Burn Surgeons, Physicians, Mid-level Providers, Operating room staff, Respiratory Therapists, Nurses and Hospital Administrators.

Principal Responsibilities

Effectively communicates about the product & overcomes objections Understands disease state and therapeutic area Uses clinical data in selling product Understands the market landscape and competing products Analyzes territory and account data, uses judgment and experience to identify business opportunities Prioritizes sales activities and continually evaluates targets to meet goals and track sales impact Develops KOLs and implements programs consistent with product strategy to drive sales results Develops and maintains relationships with internal colleagues and external HCPs/Customers Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, policies and procedures in conducting business Meets specific expectations on speaker events and other available resources Fully Competent to train on the device to all levels of users

Minimum Requirements

Experience / Skills:

B.A. or B.S. degree in relevant field, and 2 plus years recent hospital sales experience or 5 plus years Specialty sales In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, will consider either an Associate's Degreeand 5+ years, OR 7+ years, of successful, proven pharmaceutical or industry equivalent experience within hospital / Institutions. Current experience within the territory and customer knowledge highly preferred. Strong technical and clinical presentation and selling skills Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Proven track record of sales success and strong business acumen Excellent planning and organizational skills Strong collaboration and teamwork skills Valid driver's license Required to pass all product training testing Overnight travel Excellent computer skills

Preferred:

B.A. or B.S. degree in relevant field, M.B.A. a plus Academic and community institutional selling experience Institutional contracting process experience Institutional contracting process experience

Competencies: Selling Skills Clinical Acumen Business Acumen Communication and Teamwork Resource Utilization Local travel; some overnight required, may vary depending on the region

Territory: Utah or Las Vegas Area
