Oxford Global Resources Automation Engineer in Detroit, Michigan

Summary: The automation engineer will be involved in designing, programming, simulating and testing automated processes and machinery, followed by creating detailed documentation or manuals for the fully functional projects. Project Details: * Review and analyze user stories * Provide work estimates for testing user stories * Develop robust automated test scripts based on input from, and in partnership with the QA Functional testers * Resolve script failures during development and execution * Identify and raise risks as early as possible in the system development life cycle * Communicate effectively in both verbal (day-to-day discussions, team meetings) and written forms (test artifacts). * Identify and log defects, work with development to resolve, and verify fixes when implemented * Maintenance of scripts to keep up with changing business needs Job Experience: * BS/BA in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years in QA automation testing * Efficiency and knowledge of how automation is performed within such a project * Proven experience working with Selenium * Hands-on experience testing applications developed on multiple browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome) * Ability to perform to a reasonable standard of output as a member of a highly productive and collaborative team * Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills * Agility to shift priorities and multi-task based on business needs * Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills * Understanding of database concepts with the ability to create simple queries Hourly Rate: 55.25-71.5 Oxford is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
