Essentia Health Sterile Processing Technician - Full Time Days - St. May's Hospital in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota

Job Description:

Seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to serve full time at Saint Mary's Hospital in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Shifts are 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, or 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, totaling 40 hours weekly. No weekends or holidays are required. Dependability and self-motivation are a must in this role. This position includes a $3000 sign-on bonus. $1500 will pay out on your first paycheck after 30 days of employment, minus taxes and with a 2-year commitment, and $1500 will be paid out after 2 years of employment. Responsible for the reprocessing of reusable surgical instruments and patient care equipment for use in surgery and throughout various nursing units. Plays a vital role in ensuring clean, safe, sterile instruments and equipment are available to hospital staff for use in patient care.

Pay Range

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
