Description We are in the hospitality industry offering a unique opportunity for a Paralegal at our DES PERES, Missouri location. This role will be a contract to hire employment opportunity, encompassing a multitude of tasks related to the legal aspects of our business operations. The successful candidate will be expected to utilize their extensive legal knowledge to facilitate smooth operation within the legal department.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and provide legal support to the team

• Efficiently manage case files and legal documents

• Utilize legal software such as LexisNexis and Case Management Software for efficient task management

• Handle customer complaints and claim administration

• Use Microsoft Excel for data organization and record keeping

• Perform briefing and calendar management tasks

• Ensure proper administration of corporate paralegal tasks

• Utilize Adobe Acrobat for document management and editing

• Oversee billing functions to ensure timely and accurate billing

• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external parties. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a paralegal role within the hotel industry

• Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat for document management

• Experience with case management software to track and manage legal cases

• Proficiency in using LexisNexis for legal research

• Experience with management systems to manage workflow and tasks

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Familiarity with billing functions in a legal context

• Experience in briefing teams or individuals on legal matters

• Proficiency in calendar management to organize meetings and schedules

• Experience in claim administration to manage and process legal claims

• Familiarity with complaint handling procedures in a legal context

• Prior experience as a corporate paralegal within the hotel industry.
