  • Maintains and submits all documentation for program accreditation through Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and board specialty as required and assures compliance with accreditation requirements. Complies and tabulates data for surveys, questionnaires, accreditation reports, and other forms and documents required by outside agencies. - Works closely with program director assigned to program to support the needs of the program. - Manages and coordinates program logistics including schedules, curriculum, evaluation processes, and resident activities which includes annual resident graduation banquet, and scholarly forum, - Develops annual orientation program including coordinating all hospital departments involved with orientation. Assists new residents with “settling in”; i.e., prepares packets with housing, general information, etc. - Facilitates recruitment interviews, itineraries, and audition rotations for prospective applicants. Coordinates the review of applications, interview process and match process. Develops and prepares materials for disbursement to candidates and/or faculty. - Composes, prepares, and distributes correspondence, agendas, reports, meeting minutes and schedules. - Assists in creating guidelines and policies and procedures for the residency program. Ensures compliance. - Works with the Program Director and GME Manager to maintain and meet yearly program budget. - Works with Information Technology (IT) to ensure that faculty and residents have appropriate IT access and resources. Troubleshoots any IT issues. - Processes and maintains the necessary administrative paperwork, records, and filing systems to support program. - Maintains tracking system for soliciting resident evaluations of faculty and providing feedback to faculty on their teaching skills. Monitors adverse evaluations and subsequent actions required to address learning needs. - Provides follow up and communication to Program Director and respective faculty whenquality concerns are identified. - Attends and reports to Graduate Medical Education Committee on status of program, resident progress, curriculum/rotation changes, and any identified needs for program. - Maintains resident files with biographical information, licensure, certifications, and other documentation as required. Ensures all residents are credentialed and have appropriate licensure for respective programs. - Tracks payment to reimburse faculty/preceptors according to contract terms. - Performs functions related to Accounts Payable, and Expense Reporting requirements. - Performs Kronos functions on a weekly basis for faculty. Manages and tracks resident and faculty time off. - Receives and screens visitors and calls to the program, and notifies appropriate personnel or records messages; responds to inquiries for information.
