Position: Application Developer - .NET / SQL / SOAP Web Services

Location: Remote (Mostly - with ability to travel to Iowa for onboarding and once annually)

Salary: up to $130K + exceptional benefits

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Developer who has an extensive background in front-end and back-end development, business analysis, database administration, and system administration. This role will involve working closely with clients and junior developers. Additionally, the ability to be flexible with off-hour work, within a 40-hour work week, is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with clients (20% of the time)

  • Handle DBA tasks (40% of the time)

  • Delegate tasks to junior developers (10% of the time)

  • Deploy/perform systems administration in client environments (5% of the time)

  • Perform front-end and back-end development (25% of the time)

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience

  • Proven skills in business analysis

  • Experience in DBA

  • Proficiency in front-end and back-end development

  • Understanding of systems administration

  • Proficiency with SOAP web services, Web APP, SQL, and other relevant technologies

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor

  • Experience in all phases of software development, from concept development to deployment

  • Willingness to travel for on-site onboarding and potential annual meetings

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who comes prepared, can work well in a team setting, and has strong problem-solving skills.

Requirements • Proficiency in Backend Development is required

• Must have experience with Database management

• API Development skills are essential

• Proficiency in ASP.NET is required

• Must have experience with C# - Sharp

• Knowledge of Soap Web Services is necessary

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable

• Strong problem-solving skills are necessary

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required

• Ability to work in a team-oriented setting

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary

• Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Must be able to adapt to changing technologies and learn new skills quickly
