Job Description

Oracle Learning Cloud is Oracle HCM's learning management and learning experience cloud service that enables enterprises to run compliance, personal development, and professional development training for their employees. We are looking for a self-motivated, meticulous person with strong interpersonal skills and critical thinking capabilities to join our product management team and pursue innovative ways of delivering user-centered solutions and business value to our customers.

As a member of the product development division, you will gather and analyze information to define product specifications, communicate product strategy and functionality, review documentation and collateral, and ensure successful product releases through collaboration with development engineers and quality assurance teams. Work is multifaceted and sophisticated necessitating independent judgement, creative thinking, and an intuition for designing intuitive and powerful user experiences.

Responsibilities

As a product manager for Oracle Learning, you will work with customers and our leadership team to define and develop product features and capabilities for the varying needs of our customers across the learning management space, as well as learning experience platform space in order to help our customers deliver and manage training within their enterprises whether it be for compliance, professional, or personal development purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers and product strategy to build solutions that provide value to our customers

  • Proactively define and drive creation of new features

  • Create user stories and detailed product requirement document that clearly articulate the desired product functionality and behavior

  • Collaborate with development team members to deliver great features

  • Develop a deep understanding of the marketplace and other Oracle HCM applications

  • Partner with key team members for optimal rollout and adoption of new features and ensure a great end-to-end customer experience

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of product management experience in the learning management and learning experience domains

  • Able to think strategically and critically in order to solve complex problems

  • Ability to gather complex requirements and translate them into a detailed plan for execution

  • Comfortable working across time zones with team members and customers in other parts of the world

  • Familiarity with agile processes and Jira is a plus

  • BA Business Administrator or BS Computer Science would be ideal

US: Hiring Range: from $87,600 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
