Hydro-Klean LLC Inside Sales / Logistics Assistant in Des Moines, Iowa

HK Solutions Group is looking for an Inside Sales / Logistics Coordinator, to join our team in Des Moines, IA.

Reporting to the Director of Logistics, the Inside Sales/Logistics Coordinator is responsible to ensure customers’ needs are met in the most appropriate way and ensuring the readiness level of HK staff in producing revenues while maintaining control over costs. This position will incorporate technical knowledge, administrative skills, estimating skills and customer experience responsibilities and will be based out of our home office in Des Moines.

Job Functions

  • Answer incoming sales calls; make outgoing sales calls to current and potential customer; make follow-up calls on completed jobs; make status calls during in-process jobs

  • Perform routine clerical duties such as creating work orders and writing quotes for standard jobs

  • Work with Operations to coordinate job information sharing; confirm scheduled jobs with sales, operations and customers; update employees on schedule changes or travel requirements when they are traveling

  • Schedule employees and equipment using a computer-based scheduling software program

  • Coordinate with Director of Fleet Maintenance regarding readiness level, location, requirements and periodic inspection of the HK fleet

  • Ensure HK is responding to as many opportunities as possible as long as those opportunities fit within HK services, HK timing and HK pricing standards

  • Assist with collection of accounts receivable related to the projects/customers initiated through this position

    Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Computer skills, including proficiency using Microsoft office suite

  • Prior experience in construction/industrial management is preferred, but not required
