The group includes Home Lending; Auto; Cards, Retail and Merchant Services; Personal Lending; Consumer Lending Control; and Consumer Lending Shared Services.

The Consumer Lending team partners with other businesses across Wells Fargo to create and deliver transformational experiences that help customers gain access to credit. The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it. Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.

This Implementation Consultant 3 position will primarily support the Wells Fargo Retail Services Client Services, Strategy, and Competitive Intelligence team. Wells Fargo Retail Services offers private label credit card programs to merchants in a number of industries including but not limited to: home furnishings, home improvement, jewelry, healthcare, and lawn and landscaping. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Consulting with project managers and project teams to establish appropriate implementation strategy, methods, and plans for strategic initiatives that impact multiple or organization wide systems, workflows or products with high risk.

  • Designs communication and training plans, including: identifying the appropriate learning process and timing

  • Managing implementation resources and budgets

  • Partnering with project teams and users to understand complex problems and focuses on bringing issues to resolution, escalating as necessary to meet timelines

  • Identifying best practices and creating new workflows and/or procedures

  • Developing complex business requirements to meet implementation strategy

*Preferred is Des Moines, Iowa. Other locations within the Wells Fargo footprint may be considered.

Salary range is determined by the location of the job.

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

IA-Des Moines: Min: $60,400 Mid: $85,000 Max: $109,700

May be considered for a discretionary bonus.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of implementation experience

  • 3+ years of project management experience, additional implementation experience, or a combination of both

  • Knowledge and understanding of SharePoint

  • Solid critical thinking skills

  • Strong project management skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
