Overview

Responsibilities
• Provides support to the Mercy College Admissions Department by planning, coordinating, and executing events intended to increase enrollment.
• Serves as point of contact for all campus events and leads external campus guest experiences.
• Plans and schedules faculty, staff, and administration to participate in campus visit events.
• Communicates with secondary school counselors, administrators, and educators to schedule group campus visits.
• Provides the Admissions Department with regular updates regarding newly scheduled events, students’ completion of orientation, registration numbers for upcoming events, and other data points.
• Utilizes prompt, professional, and enthusiastic communication while engaging with individuals over phone, email, one-one-conversations, and large-group presentations.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, public relations, marketing, or related field and/or equivalent training and/or experience.
• Experience in public speaking and event planning strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience in higher education preferred.
• Ability to work some nights and weekends.
