What you will do:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop our engineering team in supporting existing and future projects. This role oversees capital deployment, automation control upgrades, and process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing our current processes and products. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

· Lead engineering teams in researching, designing, evaluating, installing, operating, monitoring, and maintaining production processes, equipment, and automation control systems.

· Direct system modifications and develop specifications for new components to ensure conformance with safety regulations and engineering standards.

· Provide leadership, support, and training for the Controls and Engineering team.

· Manage process engineering projects, ensuring on-time delivery and budget compliance.

· Investigate equipment failures and operational difficulties to diagnose root causes and recommend improvements.

· Oversee major capital equipment replacements and facility maintenance projects.

· Conduct monthly budget reviews for repair, maintenance, and capital expenditures.

· Manage third-party contractors for repair and maintenance projects.

· Provide strategic guidance and engineering support across multiple company locations.

· Collaborate with R&D and Quality teams on process improvements.

· Implement best practices in project management and capital plan development.

· Conduct risk assessments and ensure clear process documentation and training.

Requirements

Whatexperience you will need:

· Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or industrial engineering (required)

· 7+ years of progressive engineering experience, including capital budgets, project management, and people leadership in a manufacturing or related environment

· Proficiency in DCS or PLC/HMI control systems, AutoCAD, and similar engineering software

· Experience in brownfield/greenfield plant design and management

· Strong analytical thinking and interpersonal skills

· Proven track record in managing engineering teams

· Experience with fluid flow systems, plant automation, electrical systems, separation processes, and chemical processing

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

· Ability to move up to 50lbs (medium work)

· May encounter various environmental conditions including temperature extremes, outdoor elements, noise, and confined spaces

· Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, and scaffolding

· Occasional operation of machinery, power tools, and motor vehicles may be required
