TEKsystems Customer Account Representative in Des Moines, Iowa

TEKsystems is hiring a customer account representative for our client in Des Moines. This postion will begin 100% ONSITE for training. THEN, will move to a hybrid scheduled.

Description:

The Customer Account Representative will be the point of contact for his/her assigned outside Sales Representatives and corresponding customer portfolio.

  • Maintain current customer relationships and support the sales representatives

  • Communicates order status to customers, including backorder information, blanket order status, and future order confirmations

  • Ensures new purchase orders and blanket orders from customers align with CPA policy, and take action to resolve discrepancies between the customer request and CPA policy

  • The objective of the position is to assist in the sales process, making transactions easier for both the sales team and customers, while operating within guidelines and procedures.

  • Provides proper documentation and certifications related to the transactions

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Prefer 1-2 years of experience within a client engagement environment.

Comfortable to upsell and support client needs.

Attention to detail and organization must be strengths!
