Construction Laborer

Des Moines, IA

Pay: $18-$20 Hourly Starting Wage (Weekly Pay)

Monday - Friday / 7am - 5pm / Available OT on Saturdays

Job Description: (Will be trained in on all tasks)

  • Looking for skilled construction workers to join our team at a high-profile construction site.

  • As a General Laborer in this role, you will work off blueprints, use hand and power tools to assemble and mount trays, server racks/closets, and work with low voltage cabling.

  • (Fully Trained In) - Responsibilities include installing work area outlets for floors, modular furniture, and walls, routing cables, performing pre-termination procedures, building closets, performing fire-stopping procedures on fire walls, installing sleeves, pulling cable through sleeves and core penetration, and terminating low-voltage devices.

Work Environment:

  • This job is performed in both indoor and outdoor working elements.

  • Work is performed on a large/active construction site with lots of equipment and material being moved around consistently.

  • Community work environment - multiple construction crews with various locations around site.

  • Required to wear steel-toed work boots and jeans. Will be provided PPE gear.

Requirements:

  • Valid Drivers License

  • Pass 7 yr. back ground check and drug test (must have clean record)

  • Must have some experience with power tools, hand tools, willing to train anyone with good attitude and work tenure.
