Job description Aero Instruments and Avionics, Inc. is a leader in the commercial aviation repair market, and we are seeking an Electronics Technician to join our growing team. An Electronics Technician is responsible for the repair of electronic instrumentation and aircraft components. In this position, you will be testing, troubleshooting, and repairing various avionics components in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications. Responsibilities: Test, troubleshoot, and perform the service work required for maintenance of a variety of avionics components Utilize various types of specialized test equipment to diagnose issues with aircraft components Interpret schematics, drawings, manuals, and instructions to properly perform duties Adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning components or assemblies, using hand tools or soldering irons Document and report repair work using company software Interact with engineering and quality personnel as required Requirements: A.A.S. in Electronics or equivalent formal training Electronic/mechanical disassembly and reassembly experience Soldering experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Positive attitude and outstanding integrity Strong technical and analytical skills Preferred: Strong mechanical aptitude High precision soldering experience ESD & IPC certification Additional Information: Schedule is Monday - Friday 1st or 2nd shift Remote work is NOT AVAILABLE for this role Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour DOE Aero Instruments & Avionics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
