DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Responsible for three major functions: monthly forecast reconciliation, material reconciliation, and project closeout. The tasks to be performed revolve around material and labor information, processing, and accuracy in HCG systems.  As important as data management is the ability to analyze root cause and propose/execute corrective actions when there are discrepancies. Collaboration and effective communication with materials manager, plant managers, finance team, engineering team, project managers, business systems analyst and VP of Operations is essential. Ancillary duties include training, systems testing and validation, process change and implementation, and report creation. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  * Perform data mining and analysis of labor and material information for forecast reconciliation, inventory accuracy, and project closeout.  * Regarding forecast reconciliation specifically, pull data/reports, facilitate production forecast meeting monthly, document meeting outcome, and coordinate resulting actions.  * Serve as a resource for problem solving and root cause analysis of operations data issues.  * Serve as a resource to maintain and update any necessary changes to production orders in relation to Labor Hours, BOM's, etc.  * Communicate BOM discrepancies for resolution.  * Support ERP transactions, process policies, and improvements.  * Provide ERP / systems training and documentation as needed.   * In collaboration with Business Systems Analyst and IT, coordinate ERP system oversight and issue resolution.  * Provide training and serve as main point of contact for individuals tasked with resolving Controlling Goods Issued (COGI) issues in SAP.  * Other special projects and duties as assigned to support internal customer demands. 

MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  * Attends various meetings, training seminars, and special courses, etc. * Act as HCG Information Technology project consultant regarding process and affects. * Complete required professional development

EDUCATION: * Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience required.

EXPERIENCE: * 3 - 5 years of work experience in ERP system maintenance (SAP preferred). * Proficient in Excel and Pivot Table analysis tools. * Demonstrated labor and materials forecasting facilitation and analysis abilities. * Working basic knowledge of blueprints. * Ability to handle complex problems and unexpected situations, including making recommendations on resolution. * Ability to work individually and as part of a team. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
