Description: Job Summary

This position is responsible for loading all outbound shipments and unloading all inbound deliveries.

Duties and Responsibilities:Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Operates a propane sit-down forklift.
  • Sort shipments for destination and group merchandise to be included with or fulfilled in an order.
  • Loading of finished materials for transport and unloading of raw materials.
  • Moving of product to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
  • Take product off the production line and store in designated location.
  • Transport raw materials to production workstations.
  • Inspect forklift to determine the need for repairs and to guarantee safety.
  • Verify piece counts on each pallet and compare to label.
  • Material handling of all products.
  • Follow manufacturing work orders.

Working Conditions:

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year previous forklift experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Shipping and Receiving.
