Great-West Corporate AVP Participant Capabilities & Experience in Denver (DTC), Colorado
This role is responsible for helping to create an end to end strategy of capabilities and services for participants and retail consumers. Reporting to SVP of Retirement Products, this role will work with senior leadership who:
Understand competitive and industry landscape
Identify key product initiatives to deliver capabilities and services to employees
Prioritize and drive a detailed roadmap of capabilities and services
Develop and deliver messaging of the vision
Manage solution development and implementation ensuring synergies and connections of organizational initiatives
Provide ongoing strategic support to ensure the competitiveness of existing products.
Effectively lead cross-functional groups in order to prioritize the development, implementation, and management of products, services, or capabilities for participants.
Identify initiatives and enhancements by engaging partners internally and externally to drive growth and/or efficiencies within assigned market(s), while positively contributing to the overall profitability of Empower Retirement.
Define and lead scope within assigned market(s), securing subject matter experts, overseeing implications to costs and revenue, positioning, etc.
Collaborate with key partners, both internally and externally, to ensure both organizational readiness as well as synergies with other business initiatives.
Deliver internal and external presentations on strategic vision and roadmap
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related area, or equivalent experience required
FINRA Series 6 registration permitted, but not required. Corporate-established timelines apply to permitted registrations
FINRA fingerprinting required
Seven (7) or more years of relevant work experience required, preferably within financial services industry working within assigned market(s)
Ideal candidates will possess a deep understanding of the marketplace including employers, employees and intermediary, and have a strong ability to influence internal and external clients and partners.
Previous experience with multiple mediums of communications required
Previous direct project management experience preferred
Strong communication skills and superlative presentation skills required
Ideal candidates will demonstrate organizational savvy and the ability to successfully collaborate with all levels of management and staff
