Mead And Hunt, Inc. Technology Systems Designer in Denver, Colorado

Job Description Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for a technology systems designer. Responsibilities include designing communications, security and audio-visual infrastructure and layout of technology rooms for new and renovation projects; participating in technical meetings with clients, construction staff, and project team members; assisting with review of reports, specifications, plans, schedules, and studies; assisting with the development of construction cost estimates; performing construction administration tasks and site inspections. Regular travel will be required. The successful candidate must have a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) or Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification or the ability to obtain at least one certification listed within two years of hire, and a combination of education and/or experience totaling seven years of relevant experience. Any of the following is acceptable: Associate degree (or higher) in technology design, engineering technology, or related field plus five years of experience in building design or construction (technology systems preferred) If no degree, must have at least seven years of experience related to building design (at least four years of technology systems experience). The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: Designing technology (ICT) systems involving new and/or building renovation projects Designing security electronic systems Participating in technical meetings with clients and project teams Designing low voltage and/or electrical systems Revit, AutoCAD and BIM (Building Information Modeling) software

The ideal candidate will also have: Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification or related registrations or certifications.

Pay range depending on experience: $85,000 - $100,000
