We’re seeking a Senior TaxSpecialist, based in our Denver, Colorado office (global headquarters) .
In this role, you will prepare and file US/state tax returns, maintaining tax reserves, ETR management and provide timely and accurate tax data and disclosures in the financial statements and forecasts.

Maintain the ASC 740.10 inventory of uncertain tax positions and prepareall related workpapers on a quarterly and annual basis for 10Q and 10Kdisclosures, tax forecasting, monthly journal entries, and variance analysis
Prepare the state tax accounting components of the global tax provision andUS regulatory filings
Prepare federal and state income tax filings including quarterly estimates,extensions, and tax returns
Assist with other tax projects including but not limited to tax accountreconciliation, state tax credits and NOL utilization, state ETR management,and state audit inquiries and notices
Communicate with assigned business unit personnel to obtain informationnecessary to prepare the aforementioned tax filings
Review tax packages and identify and research tax issues and filingquestions
Develop, recommend and implement new processes and procedures
Maintain ASC 740 workpapers, including tax basis balance sheets for assignedcompanies
What you will need tosucceed:
Minimum of 3 years with a large public accounting firm and/or taxcompliance in a large multistate corporate environment
Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
Strong written and oral communication skills
CPAs or CPA candidates preferred, but not required
Experience using Corptax, Oracle and HFM a plus but not required
Must be proactive, responsive and resourceful
Highly flexible and motivated with an ability to work in a team setting aswell as independently
Able to engage in critical thinking, analysis, and problem solving
Able to multi-task and work well under pressure and firm deadlines
