Overview of Job Function:

The Solutions Design Group’s (SDG) primary focus is providing support throughout the presales process. Sales engineers are solutions experts on the entire EdgeVMS portfolio of products. The solutions design group sales engineer will ensure that the Customer Experience is exceptional, positive, and efficient, setting Verint apart from the competition. This position is responsible for providing remote and onsite technical sales support to members of the sales team who work with integrators and financial institutions interested in purchasing solutions. The SDG team is a key resource in expanding our leadership position in the Fraud and Security markets serving the banking and financial sector, and their knowledge and experience are critical to our goal to maintain our recognition as the market leader for advanced financial intelligence solutions. The SDG Sales Engineer partners with Regional Sales Managers, Sales Management, our Integrator Partners' Sales & Field teams, as well as internal R&D, Product Management, and Customer Service teams to achieve success.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate customer discovery discussions to understand and document business requirements and design requirements necessary for the formulation of optimal solutions.

  • Deliver remote and in-person technical demonstrations to partners, consultants, and end users.

  • Assist with sales proposal and quote reviews for technical accuracy and provide technical approval.

  • Deliver sales solution training to our inside and outside sales colleagues on our solutions portfolio.

  • Implement proof of concept or field pilots throughout the presales process.

  • Trade show planning, communication, setup, demonstrations, teardown, lessons learned reports.

  • Provide RFP / specification review and technical response to outside sales and our partners.

  • Facilitate a successful handoff to post-sales with supporting documentation and onsite meeting support.

  • Establish and build relationships with Integrator Partners and end users by serving as the technical liaison from presales to post-sales.

  • Document internal and external product enhancement VOC and share it with Verint’s Product Management Group.

  • Follow industry technology trends through self-study, and formal training and share the knowledge with Verint internal colleagues and appropriate external audiences.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, IT, or related equivalent field/work experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical capacity for the design and deployment of networked surveillance and/or CCTV solutions.

  • 5+ years of experience interfacing directly with customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Exceptional customer-facing, individual management, organization, and technical skills.

  • Works well under pressure with strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly master new technologies.

  • Demonstrated success and performance in a team environment.

  • Excellent written/oral communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks and projects in a remote role.

  • Ability to travel 25%-50%, proximity to major airport.

  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Knowledge of technologies including Windows, MS SQL, MS 365 Office Suite, MS Power BI, VMware, virtualization, and storage technology.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and analyze networked environments.

  • Experience with AWS or other hosting and cloud solutions#LI-BM1
