Moog specializes in passive and active vibration suppression/load alleviation products and services, spacecraft buses and sub-systems, spacecraft and payload structure and propulsive accommodations, and precision motion control. The Space Vehicles team is rapidly growing and comprises a cross-disciplinary group of industry veterans and young talent alike. The focus is on the development of satellite buses, Orbital Maneuvering Vehicles (OMVs), space tugs, and more. The team is a tight-knit group of collaboration-oriented professionals that welcome others looking to work on multi-faceted, complex problems as a team. Our team is looking for a Software Development Manager to join them. You will report to the Director of Engineering and will have a 9/80 hybrid, work schedul To be considered for Software Development Manager, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.

10 years of Software Development

5 years of experience being a technical leader or manager for an aerospace company either space or aircraft environment

5 years of experience with VxWorks or other RTOS (Real-time Operating Systems)

5 years managing Software Development Schedules

5 years working in an Agile Environment As a Software Development Manager, you will: Mentor Developers; Lead small and medium size Teams; Prioritize team tasking; work directly with customer to ensure features and changes are captured; manage short term and long term staffing. Salary Range:

Salary negotiations start at $150,000. Salary is based on education and experience. This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
