Solar Installer/Removal and Reinstallation

Location: Denver

Job Level: Entry-Level

Shift: Full-time (40-45 hours)

Compensation: $45,000-$60,000/year plus per diem

Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Accident insurance, as well as a Health Savings Account.

Position Summary:

As a Solar Panel Installer at Blue Raven, you'll play a crucial role in not just installing but also removing and reinstalling solar systems for roof repairs. Your day-to-day will involve spending 70-90% of your time on rooftops, working with systems of various angles and heights, and in all weather conditions. Travel Costs and per diem will be paid by Blue Raven

Essential Duties:

  • Follow layout plans and perform the structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment

  • Support the crew to assure the successful completion of the solar system installation

  • Document completion of quality installation

  • Compliance with OSHA standards

Key Competencies:

  • Must be able to consistently carry up to 60 pounds

  • Must be comfortable working with heights (Ladders, stairs, and roofs)

  • Must have a reliable means of transportation

  • Prior residential solar installation experience preferred but not required

  • Prior roofing/roofer experience or residential construction preferred but not required
