Pay: $36.55/hr.

Hours: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am - Schedule is 2 on, 3 off, 2 on, 2 off, 3 on for nights.

What you will do:

  • Equipment Maintenance:

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, identifying potential issues and addressing them proactively

  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and implement effective solutions

  • Overhaul and repair equipment components such as motors, conveyors, and hydraulic systems

  • Repairs and Replacements:

  • Execute timely and efficient repairs, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments

  • Replace defective parts, ensuring the use of appropriate materials and following equipment specifications

  • Collaborate with other team members to coordinate major equipment repairs and upgrades

  • Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory

  • Provide detailed reports on equipment conditions, highlighting any recurring issues or trends

  • Safety Compliance:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment

  • Participate in safety training programs and contribute to the development of safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role with minimum of one (1) year experience

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly

  • Must be able to follow directions

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

  • Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints

  • Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

  • Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Relevant technical certifications or vocational training in industrial mechanics

  • Must have a rolling cart toolbox of your own

  • Must have steel toe boots

  • Must have your own tools up to ¾ inch socket/wrench set
