Job Posting: Maintenance Technician II

Shift 10pm - 630am

Pay Rate - $30/hr

Location: Denver, CO

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team in a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the functionality of plant equipment by performing electrical and mechanical repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both preventative and predictive maintenance practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Maintenance certification preferred.

  • Experience:

  • 2 years of mechanical and maintenance experience preferred.

  • 2 years of electrical experience preferred.

  • 2 years of industrial and machine-tool maintenance experience preferred.

  • Skills & Certifications:

  • Knowledge of wiring techniques, schematics, and troubleshooting 2 & 3 Phase motors.

  • Familiarity with hand and power tools, welding and cutting equipment.

  • CMMS system (SAP) experience preferred.

  • Forklift and manlift licenses required or ability to obtain.

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to wet/humid conditions, extreme cold/heat, and airborne particles.

  • Moderate noise levels, moving mechanical parts, and potential electrical shock risks.

  • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent standing, walking, handling, and lifting of up to 20 lbs.

  • Occasional sitting, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and lifting up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities:

  • 70% Maintenance:

  • Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, equipment calibration, and troubleshooting.

  • Conduct preventive maintenance on machines, lubricate equipment, and perform mechanical repairs.

  • Assist in machine relocation and equipment building.

  • 10% Safety & 5S:

  • Ensure a safe work environment, perform safety walk-throughs, and comply with all PPE and safety policies.

  • 10% Skill Development:

  • Participate in ongoing training related to maintenance and safety.

  • 10% Teamwork:

  • Contribute as an active team member in chartered teams for continuous improvement.
