We are looking for an dedicated individual to join our team as Lead Driver. The Driver Lead will assist in coordinating all daily distributions. This position will be responsible for assisting the Distribution Supervisor in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of quality products to convenience stores are completed in a professional and cost effective manner by running routes and training new drivers. E.A. Sween is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority/Female/Veteran/Disability COMPENSATION $30.50 per hour Essential Competencies of the Role: Assist and ensure all proper processes are being followed by each driver, including manifests, FER's, DOT logs, tablet usage, and driver issue logs on a daily basis.

Assist in training and coaching all drivers following training guidelines and Best Practices. Assist with monitoring fleet of trucks daily to ensure all trucks are clean and in good repair for delivery. Be responsible for, and follow safety, health, HACCP, and OSHA regulations by participating in and leading safety meetings, reporting hazardous conditions and performing job according to Best Practices. Follow processes for the vehicle crash and workman comp reporting procedures to assist drivers in completing incident reports and contacting Fleet Response. Required Qualifications: Comply with DOT regulations and have a valid Driver's License in the state which you reside. Must be a good team player and be able to effectively communicate with CDC customers and employees. Must have an MVR within established company guidelines Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, or when requested to support the 24/7 business Must be at least 21 years of age. Preferred Qualifications: Previous training, lead, or supervisory experience Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite Physical Demands and Work Environment: Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 35 degrees - 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Must be able to repetitively lift/carry up to 75 pounds and push/pull up to 250 pounds. Must be able to perform frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, and squatting and frequent reaching over shoulder, waist level, and from the floor.
