Responsibilities will include analyzing land contracts and land leases; preparing leases and contracts for input; internal correspondence and notification concerning proposals, new wells, farm-outs and non-consents; maintaining and updating internal reports and maps; preparing, processing, monitoring and routing AFEs and land/legal invoices, internally and externally; providing technical administrative support to the ROW staff; preparation of exploration agreements; processing leases for payment; addressing the custom mapping needs of others in

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3 years' experience preferred, relative to the position as described, at a Land Technician or similar is required. Must have good working land experience, proven ability in prioritizing projects and meeting deadlines a must. Must be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to handle a heavy workload and meet critical deadlines. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, and have the ability to learn new software. Knowledge of ArcView and Dwights PI is a plus. Excellent verbal and written skills; strong computer skills; excellent organizational skills; a 'can-do' positive approach to work; adaptability, an ability to quickly establish and maintain relationships at all levels in the organization, and a high standards of ethics is required. A minimum of a High School diploma or GED with related work experience is required. Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
