Your Opportunity

We have a full-time position for an HSSE Administrator to join our Health, Safety, Security & Environment ‘Client Services’ team based anywhere in the US. The ideal candidate will have outstanding administrative skills to ensure optimal functioning of the HSSE Services team. This is an important role in which you will be required to administer programs, processes, and procedures focused on services to internal clients, while ensuring discretion and confidentiality.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Being a ‘Designated Company Representative’ (DCR) for Stantec’s Alcohol & Drug testing programs (US), you will

  • Be a subject matter expert on alcohol and drug testing and work closely with the business units, HR, and risk management

  • Administer the Canadian and US Programs

  • Liaise with A&D vendors, 3rd party administrators and Audit & Compliance.

  • As a member of Stantec’s Workers Compensation team, you will

  • Monitor reports from Stantec’s Incident Intervention Program service provider to identify injured employees who would benefit from Workers Comp team services

  • Provide support and coverage for the management of workplace injury claims and support early and safe return to work

  • Provide administrative support to the HSSE team including:

  • Managing the HSSE Mailbox, triage, respond and distribute email

  • Planning, facilitating, tracking, creating process flows and MS Teams forms

  • Creating and maintaining monthly reports

  • Work effectively in changing situations and with diverse individuals and groups

  • Deliver excellence to internal clients

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • High level proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.

  • Experience in MS SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat is required.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

  • Exceptional ability to work in a team environment and present a flexible and adaptable approach to all tasks and assignments.

  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and capable of effectively multi-tasking, with a high degree of accuracy, in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be willing and able to take initiative when needed.

Education and Experience

  • Five years’ related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Related post-secondary education is preferred.

Position can work in an office setting or remotely from any location in North America.

Salary Range(s):

  • NYC $71,900/ Outside NYC $57,100 - NYC $104,300/ Outside NYC $82,800 Min/Max Pay Range(s) for postings located in NYC/NY

  • $62,800 - $91,100 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CO and HI

  • $67,400 - $97,700 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in WA

  • SF Area $71,900 / Other CA Areas $62,800 - SF Area $104,300/ Other CA Areas $97,700 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CA (SF Area includes SF, SJS & WLC)

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.

Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).

Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.

The benefits information listed above may not apply to union positions because benefits for such positions are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreements.
