This position is responsible for acting as a lead to a team of IT Field Services Technicians to provide comprehensive support for hardware, software, and network issues. Additionally this role will oversee the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT equipment, ensuring that all technical issues are resolved promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime and support business operations.

  • Acts a lead to a team of IT Field Services Technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality technical support and customer service.

  • Coordinates and oversees the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, network devices, and peripherals across multiple sites.

  • Develops and implements standard operating procedures for the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices.

  • Collaborates with IT management and other departments to identify and address IT needs, contributing to the development of IT strategies and initiatives.

  • Manages the inventory of IT assets, ensuring accurate tracking, documentation, and reporting of hardware and software resources.

  • Provides hands-on technical support for complex issues, working closely with team members to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.

  • Monitors the performance of IT systems, identifying and addressing issues proactively to ensure optimal operation and availability.

  • Participates in the planning and execution of IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new installations, ensuring timely and on-budget completion.

  • Serves as a key point of contact for vendors and external service providers, managing relationships and negotiating contracts to support IT operations.

  • Recommends, reviews, and implements process improvements to provide solutions that are more efficient for our customers.

  • Reports ongoing issues as problem tickets in ServiceNow platform.

  • Assists troubleshooting other teams to resolve IT issues or concerns.

  • Responds to support requests and track all updates within the ServiceNow platform.

  • Provides exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers while following ITIL best practices.

  • Maintains a clean and organized server room and work area

  • Responds to all network, server, and application outages.

We are interested in speaking to individuals with the following…

  • High School Diploma required. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related field preferred.

  • Four (4) plus years of experience.

  • Certification in ITIL, CompTIA A+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) is preferred.

  • ITIL v3 or v4 certification preferred.

  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication, leadership ability, teamwork and positive attitude.

  • Basic programming for control systems (PowerShell scripting).

  • Familiarity with Service Now and basic usage within the ITSM platform.

  • PC literate, including knowledge of office productivity tools (MS Suite: Excel, Word, etc).

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle stress.

  • Works well within a team environment as well as individually.

  • Must have excellent organizational and coordination skills.

  • Must demonstrate sound analytical skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication, leadership ability, teamwork and positive attitude.

  • Strong technical knowledge of desktop hardware, operating systems (Windows/Mac), and office productivity software.

  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and team management skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

Salary: $ 23.51 - 32.31 hourly
