DaVita is seeking an individual to join the Director of Product Operations Competency to join the Digital Next Team. This role will report to the Senior Director of Operations Digital Next. The Director ofProduct Competency will be a product evangelist who creates our Center of Excellence along with measured results toward increasing our product competencies. They will determine baseline for how efficient we are at building products today in comparison to silicon-valley companies.

Location: Denver, Colorado or Nashville, Tennessee strongly preferred. If in Nashville or remote, regular travel to Denver will be required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Create a Product Community across our business lines while providing independent strategic input In collaboration with PMO, Digital Product Mgt, and develop a vision and strategic approach for a Product School focused on educating best practices for the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) and product operations. Build customized learning paths for different levels that include workshops, on-demand coaching, and group coaching Organize/develop KPIs and provide analysis and outcomes Review the roles and responsibilities of the Product Management teams to understand where functions and accountability are held. Create a roadmap for transformation and execute this effort. Host a monthly or quarterly Product Management Leadership meeting with relevant topics and supporting materials that will educate on successful business outcomes Train executives on how to request tech features and expectations Host post-class feedback through surveys and anecdotal feedback to inform changes needed in the product education courses Collaborate closely with Product Managers and general managers to understand their unique needs and challenges, implementing standardized processes that enhance their effectiveness. Champion operational excellence by identifying areas for improvement, implementing best practices, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. In collaboration with PMO and Digital Product Mgt, drive the evolution of tools, workflows, and technologies that support BL Product Managers, enhancing the overall efficiency and capabilities of the teams.

Education and Qualifications: 10+ years of experience with product and/or project management, ideally within a technology, data, or financial services company. Undergraduate degree required. Experience with managing/leading/creating high-performing teams in different global locations. An understanding of market delivery/content creation platforms and the integrations with other internal systems/databases. A proven track record of delivering projects in collaborative Agile team environments. The ability to present to business and technical audiences commanding sufficient subject matter expertise. The ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines. The ability to engage effectively and credibly with a senior audience. Exceptional project management & organizational skills. Proven ability to build senior-level relationships, to lead cross-functional teams, and to influence decision making. Ability to develop strong partnerships with senior leadership across CI including, Commercial, Technology, Compliance, Risk, Finance and Legal. Significant experience working within a product organization; you understand common product lingo, product development cycles, and can bridge knowledge gaps between technical and non-technical teams. Experience in process mapping, documenting standard operating procedures, and checklists/tools. Agile development skills, experience as a Product Owner (PO) writing user story, managing a backlog. Proactive nature and always seeking to move projects forward. Strong communication skills and the ability to break down complex or deta led topics so that anyone can understand them, regardless of the audience. Thrive in a matrixed and cross-functional environment. Ability to engage in the details and solve problems creatively. Strong judgement/pragmatic approach to product operation with the ability to frame and drive balanced decisions.
