Position Title: Crew and Group Reservations Coordinator

Location: Sonesta Denver (Downtown)

Department: Front Office

Reports To: Front Office Manager

Type: Full-Time/Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Pay Range: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour

Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Handling daily modifications to airline rooms. Blocking daily guestrooms, airline is priority number one. Assist with daily airline sign in sheets (Pilots and Flight Attendants) and all other airline assistance requested. Assist managing monthly airline manifest room blocks from Passkey to Opera reservation systems. Help support in house accounting with billing as needed. Assist with PBX. Proven experience handling guest experiences which solve in positive outcome. Balance room inventory in Opera for maximum revenue opportunities. Maintain working knowledge of the front office, sales and accounting departments, including a thorough understanding of operational areas, guest patterns and demand periods and seasons. Drives front office's upsell program (NOR 1) by identifying opportunities and communication availability to team members and reporting. Balance the house in Opera and look two weeks out to ensure proper distribution of room inventory. Promptly address guests' service needs in a professional and timely manner. Follow up to ensure issue has been resolved to guest satisfaction. Assist Front Desk with daily requests. Administrative tasks requested by Sales Leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent required. Two years of previous hotel Front Desk experience preferred. Past experience working the front desk with airline crew contracts preferred. Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial. Professional verbal and written communication skills. Excel, Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances. Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office, Opera, Passkey and EXCEL systems preferred. Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility. Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 50 pounds. Frequently handling objects and equipment. Work schedule requires weekend availability and the role may be required to work mornings, evening, weekends, and holidays as necessary for the business. Detail oriented and out of the box thinking.

Pay Range $23.00 - $25.00. Base pay offer may vary on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific experience/overall experience.
