Aerotek Construction Laborers - Travel Required in Denver, Colorado

Hiring Traveling Laborers for Geo-technical Construction Work

Job Description

  • Laborers are responsible for general site cleanup, digging a trench, moving hoses around the site, spotting equipment, compacting, or using a shovel. Laborers move drill piping around and clean equipment. Some rebar work and mounting wood lagging boards. Must be comfortable moving 75+ lbs regularly.

  • Projects span across the commercial, civil, and industrial sectors, where we excel in creating earth retention molds and sculpting to secure slopes.

  • This role requires a willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, with a guarantee to be home at least once per month.

  • Travel expenses are covered with mileage reimbursement at the government rate and a daily per diem of $40 when applicable.

  • Project sites are located throughout the Rocky Mountain region, stretching from Kansas to Texas, and occasionally as far as Louisiana.

  • The position typically involves 5 to 6 workdays per week and 10-hour days, with an average of 50 hours weekly. Projects usually last between 1-2 months.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of general construction, agriculture, dirt work, welding, concrete, or landscaping experience

  • .Comfortable working outdoor in the elements

  • MUST be willing to travel around the state and outside of Colorado

  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing 75+ lbs.

Job Type

  • This is a contract to hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

  • This is a fully on-site position in Denver, CO. Travel required.

Work Environment
