What you'll be doing:
This position serves as the Section Manager for the Department s work around long-term care facilities and PACE. Additionally, it oversees all work as it relates to Regional Centers and Corrective Action Plans from CMS. This position sets team direction for the legislation impacting the aforementioned programs and any related policies. It is responsible for the Section to provide HCPF oversight of PACE, Nursing Facilities, and Intermediate Care Facilities in accordance with all applicable Federal and State statues, regulations, rules and interagency agreements. Position will also serve as the main point of contact within the Office of Community Living regarding all complex and escalated cases that require additional Department intervention.
The position is responsible for providing leadership to three units and their teams as well as providing technical expertise in regulations, policy, operations, monitoring and progresses for the administration of applicable programs governed by the three State Departments: Human Services (CDHS), Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF). The position will directly influence management at and beyond these three State Departments and will be relied upon when making decisions regarding the direction of the tasks, recommendations, program and systems related to PACE, NFs, ICF, and more. The position will develop, implement, document a monitor problem solving procedures to ensure correct application of regulatory recommendations by staff members, divisions, and departments. The procedure and process enhancement that will be recommended by this position will be relied upon by management to develop program policy.
Experience Only
Nine (9) years of experience in long-term services and supports, policy analysis, policy creation, public health, and/or disability services in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position.
Education and Experience
